Using Your 4G Wireless Connection for Field Work

Being a genius computer wiz is usually is a good thing, although sometimes it can be associated with some negative terminology such as hacker, nerd, virtual wanderer, but the reality of the situation is that these same computer wiz kids end up providing a lot of expertise on subjects unrelated to the computer science field. In particular the use of computer science can be made even more useful in combination with the use of other different sciences. Wimax connects the user to a web of Wi-Fi hotspots around cities and large towns so that the user can bring the laptop with them wherever they travel around the city. But how does this help with field research?

 

In the case that you would want to bring your laptop and be able to receive wireless internet service outside of the more metropolitan areas, you could still receive a steady connection but you wouldn't be able to have the most advanced 4G network. If you have a USB modem converter you can simply access the more common 3G network and perform all of the field studies without having to connect your computer to a cable, satellite dish, or dial-up landline. Before you realize it you will be finding new natural science samples never before recorded in scientific studies.
